Auburndale Co-operative Bank Newton,Massachusetts

Barely two years after the completion of the second major addition to their main office, Auburndale Co-operative Bank was ready to expand again. The existing adjacent building, a dull gray box, had only one floor with about half the area the bank needed. The only way to expand was up; Royal Design decided to raise the roof and add a second floor. The Loan Department would once again have room to stretch out. Exterior details were borrowed from the bank in an attempt to unify the two distinct structures.
